What do we do here?

"Make disciples." We are here because we have discovered that Christ has the answers to all of life's problems.  We gather each week to celebrate what Christ has done in our lives.  The Bible states in Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)

 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."

  We invite you to meet HIM on a personal level.  Perhaps you already have met the Master, and then we invite you on to the next step to a spiritual journey with Christ, through fellowship with New Work Baptist Church.  You can meet new friends, learn more about what the Bible says about our lives, and learn from your new friends how they overcame the same difficulties and same struggles that you may be going through.  We will give you the opportunity to tell others about what God has done for you!  Christ Jesus stated in John 10:10 (NKJV) "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly."

  We have found the abundant life, the life filled with purpose in Christ Jesus and WE WELCOME YOU!
